What is the process for booking our event?

At first we will be in contact via phone or email, but eventually we will want to arrange a time to meet with you and go over any questions you have and to get more information about you and your event. When we meet with you, we will bring a copy of our videography/photography contract for you to look over. You can either take it home with you or sign on the spot.

Will you hold a date while we decide?

Sorry, we are unable to hold a date without a non-refundable retainer. Our services are provided on a first come, first serve basis and we generally have bookings months in advance.

Can we give you a shoot list of videos/photos we want?

You can, but we don’t work off a shoot list throughout the day. It really hampers our creativity and we would most probably miss important moments as we would be looking at the list all day instead of what is happening in front of us. We work very candidly throughout the day so working off a list is not really our style. But if there is a certain video/photo you want with someone, definitely let us know.

Do you offer the raw footage?

No, we do not offer raw footage/RAW files, the footage is broken up into hundreds of individual clips that need to be edited together. The finished product we present to you is our finished work of art that we take pride in creating.
Photos are taken using RAW files and need specialized processing.

At the reception/event, do you do ‘table shots’ of people?

If you’d like a video/photo of each guest at the event, then just let us know and we’ll do our best to video/photograph them. But we cannot guarantee to get every guest… especially if you have a lot of guests or the tables/room are really cramped and we cannot get around. And just remember that if we’re taking posed clips/photos of your guests all night we can miss some of the really awesome candid moments at the event.

Do you shoot with film or digital cameras?

We shoot with Canon Digital camera and Nikon D4 DSLR.

How long is the video we get?

It depends on the package chosen.

How far do you travel?

We will travel all over Melbourne! Additional travel fees may apply if your event is outside a 40 Km radius of Wantirna 3152, Melbourne, Australia.

I already have a Photographer. Do I even need a Videographer?

Do you need air to breathe? Well, maybe that’s not comparable, but if you were not planning on having your event captured on video you might want to rethink that. Photography is great, but it can only capture so much. Video catches everything, all the little details, for you to relive each moment for the rest of your life.

Can’t I just have my Uncle film our wedding/event?

Short answer, no. Even if you do hire us, there will always be that one guy who thinks he is doing you a favor by recording your video. But it’s probably going to be low quality, shaky footage with bad audio. Do yourself a favor and hire a professional. You will thank yourself when you receive your event film

Who provides background music?

The music is your choice. It can be provided by you, or left to us to choose, but please make sure the music you provide is not protected by copyright or that you have the obtained prior written permission from the owner.
